As you might now, I have been working on a patch/upgrade to V3 1.0.0.

As of now, this is my intentions for V3 1.1.0:

• file_get_contents, or cURL (Done for 1.5 & 1.7 package)
• check infowindow and its use
• Modul til categoryview googlemap
• Plugin simpleview (Done for 1.7 package)
• Destination list (Done for 1.7 package)
• Special chars issue- (Done for 1.7 package)
• MAX MIN ZOOM
• MAX MIN ZOOM ZOOMTOBOUNDS
• Fetc database POI from category aswell, as well destinations from googlepro
• view for simplegoogle
• view for list of destinations
• Language fix for multiple language sites (Done for 1.5 & 1.7 package)

This is the list of improvements to the V3 1.1.0 - and it will be released sunday night for both 1.5 and 1.7.

This new release of Joomla 1.6 is finally out, and as a result, I have begun migrating all components and modules to be used with Joomla 1.6 too.

However, one at a time. The first one up - is as mentioned before GoogleMap Pro. This is already in the process of being updfated to the new version of Joomla, plus many new featues.

When GoogleMap Pro is updated and migrated to 1.6 as well, then all of the modules with have its makeover.

The intention is that all plugins, modules and components avaiable will be both 1.5 compatible, and 1.6 - although two different versions.

As a final note, all I can say is: Good work joomla!

GoogleMap Pro V3 is only for joomla 1.6->. It does not work with joomla 1.5 or earlier versions.

This Joomla Component comes with all the features of the V2 and adds to that. New things include:

• Joomla 1.6 compatible.
• Googlemap API V3 used. No keys needed anymore!
• Complete Javascript rewrite to use the new API from google.
• New template system.
• Enhanced import/export function. It is now possible to import from JSON, CSV, XML and database. You can import all fields, including custom fields.

The GoogleMap PRO V3 is being updated on a regular basis. Check out the roadmap for more information. The PRO V3 version requires subscription to the site.

Jans Joomla have released another Joomla component - TicketPro.

This component handles support tickets, and is a help center for users.

The actual component can be tested on the demo site.
