New helpcenter comming after the new year, alongside new GoogleMap PRO version.

The start of the new year will bring a few more helping hands to the user. A new helpcenter will be unleashed. This should make it easier for people to get the help they need - when they need it.

The helpcenter will include a FAQ, Forum and a ticket system.

The ticket system is being developed as we speak, and this will also be released as a new component Jan's Joomla offer.

This new setup will be followed by a new version of the GoogleMap PRO. This version will increase it's functionality a lot. To see a more indepth view of what is being planned, go here.

GoogleMap PRO and new homepage design released!

Finally, the new homepage is up and running, and as a bonus the GoogleMap PRO is released too.

The new googleMap component comes in two versions. A light (free) and a PRO version. Although the new version 1.0.3 just came out, this does not mean that I am resting. New improvements are already scheduled. To see what I am thinking about, go to my googleMap PRO todo list.

New design and GoogleMap

I am just about done with a new and improved design of my homepage. This will be done this week.

After that I will use some time setting it up, and implementing new features that come with this new design.

Moreover when the new site is released, a new version of the GoogleMap component will be made public. This release will update the component significantly, with lots of new things added to the mix.

So far, I do not have a release date for the site and googlemap component, all i know is that it will be during the summer.

I have just released the new version of the googlemap. In the comming time I will try to upload some language packages and a few extra modules to complete the googleMapPackage.

Modules instead of components

I just uploaded the first batch of improvements to my google component.

My next move will not be to make another component - atleast not the comming months.

Instead I will try to create some small modules. First task will be to finish the AjaxSearch module.

New project in the making

Since I just finished the GoogleMap component, I need a new project to work on.

At this very moment I am contemplating a news component, however it could also be a sort of  'catalogue' component.

Which one I will take upon me will be decided mid April.

The Component amongst other things  features routeplanning, and the possibility to attach a map to an article.

The component was released 7th of April 200*.
